At the end of "Twilight," Bella attends the Prom with Edward. Stephenie describes her dress in detail, but I'd never been able to picture it... until I attacked a picture of the actual dress that inspired Mrs. Meyer. I changed the dress from pale yellow to a purple-blue ("hyacinth," as Mrs. Meyer said) and gave the model a Bella-head and a walking cast (those who've read the book know why she had to wear a walking cast to prom).

Basically, I did this simply to amuse myself.

You can find this dress in Emanuel Ungaro's 2003 Fall Collection.
